What Are the Best Reforge Insights Alternatives?
Reforge Insights gave product teams one place to collect calls, support tickets, surveys and app reviews, sort them into themes and send findings on to Jira and Slack. In March 2026 Reforge announced it was joining Miro, with Insights set to become part of Miro's Product Acceleration offering, so teams on it are deciding what comes next.
Unwrap is the strongest Reforge Insights replacement and the one tool here built for the whole workflow: it reads calls, tickets, reviews and surveys through one model, weights every theme by account and revenue, and sends findings straight to the backlog. The other seven each cover one slice of that: survey analysis (Zonka Feedback, SurveyMonkey), in-app answers (Userpilot), business intelligence (BI) reporting (Kapiche), conversation quality scoring (UnitQ), and requests or roadmaps (Aha!, Savio).
We build Unwrap, so it's listed first. Every other entry is described from the vendor's own site, checked in October 2026.
The 8 Reforge Insights Alternatives at a Glance
- Unwrap: the best overall replacement, with every feedback channel analyzed together at 90%+ tagging precision, account and revenue context, and findings sent to Jira, Asana or Linear.
- Kapiche: AI themes for customer experience (CX) reporting into BI tools, with no Jira or Linear connector listed.
- Zonka Feedback: surveys, with AI analysis sold as a separate add-on.
- Userpilot: in-app surveys and Net Promoter Score (NPS), without tickets or calls.
- UnitQ: quality scoring for support conversations, with roadmap work a smaller part of the pitch.
- SurveyMonkey: AI themes on its own surveys only.
- Aha!: a roadmap tool that reads submitted ideas, not tickets or calls.
- Savio: request tracking with revenue, limited to requests someone logs.
Why Teams Are Looking for a Reforge Insights Alternative
The Product Is Moving Into Miro
Reforge's March 24, 2026 announcement says Insights, Research and Build "will be integrated into the Miro Product Acceleration offering" over time. It tells customers they don't need to act yet, and it hasn't said how Insights will be packaged after the move.
Context Documents Need Upkeep
Reforge Insights' Context Engine read company priorities from files teams supplied, such as a roadmap or a strategy doc. Those files need rewriting every time the plan moves, so some teams would rather pull context from a system that's already kept current, like the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Findings Need Revenue Weight and a Path to the Backlog
A theme wins a roadmap argument when it shows which accounts are behind it and what they're worth, and it only gets fixed once it becomes a ticket in Jira or Linear with the customer evidence attached.
Reforge Insights Alternatives Compared
The 8 Best Reforge Insights Alternatives
1. Unwrap: best overall Reforge Insights replacement
Of the eight, Unwrap covers the most of what Reforge Insights did, and it does it without anyone supplying a strategy file. It's the AI-powered customer intelligence platform that proactively uncovers what matters most, reading support tickets, chat, reviews, surveys, CRM records and call transcripts through one model, with recordings from Gong, Aircall, Zoom and Talkdesk and 3,000+ more tools through Zapier or CSV.
Unwrap's themes come straight from the language customers used, so there's no hand-built taxonomy to maintain and no priorities file to refresh. Tagging precision runs at 90%+, third-party verified, and every insight traces back to the verbatim feedback, so there's no black box. Separately, customers rate 97% of Unwrap's AI-generated insights as accurate and actionable.
Business context comes from systems you already maintain: insights are grounded in account context, segments, plan tiers and revenue impact, mapped from the CRM. Unwrap finds the problem before you go looking for it, with alerts reaching Slack and email at under 24 hours average alerting time for anomalous trends, and Linked Actions pushing findings to Jira, Asana and Linear.
Teams at GitHub, DoorDash, Perplexity, WHOOP and Microsoft use it at scale. Pricing starts at $24,000 a year and isn't charged per seat, so the whole team can use it. You can run a full proof of concept on your own data before buying, setup takes two to three weeks, and support is US-based. At BandLab, Amon Wong, Head of Community, Support & Product Operations, said: "Every Monday, product managers, engineers, and QA teams start the week with Unwrap."
Best for: product teams that want calls, tickets, reviews and surveys read as one picture, weighted by revenue and routed to the backlog.
2. Kapiche: best for CX teams that report into BI tools
Kapiche analyzes conversations across support, surveys, reviews and social media, and its AI Themes feature groups them without a predefined category list. Integrations include Freshdesk, SurveyMonkey, Trustpilot, G2 and Capterra, and insights go to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Tableau and Power BI.
Pricing: Bronze starts from $2k a month, and higher tiers are quoted through sales. Where it falls short: its integrations page doesn't list Jira or Linear, so a theme reaches the backlog by hand.
3. Zonka Feedback: best for survey programs adding AI analysis
Zonka Feedback runs surveys over email, text message, in-app and web, and its AI Feedback Intelligence add-on pulls in tickets and reviews, extracting themes, sentiment and entities from open text. It connects to Salesforce, HubSpot, Intercom, Freshdesk and Help Scout, and sends work to Jira, Slack and Microsoft Teams.
Pricing runs on survey responses and AI data credits, with no figures published. Where it falls short: the AI analysis is a separate add-on, so it's priced on top of the survey product.
4. Userpilot: best for in-app feedback tied to product usage
Userpilot is a product growth platform where in-app surveys and NPS sit next to product analytics and session replay. Its AI agent, Lia, clusters survey responses into themes and tracks sentiment.
Pricing: Starter is $299 a month with 2,000 monthly active users (MAU) and 3 seats, and Growth starts from $849. Where it falls short: it reads what users answer inside your app, so tickets and calls aren't in scope, and Salesforce and HubSpot sync are paid add-ons.
5. UnitQ: best for quality scoring across every conversation
UnitQ describes itself as an independent quality layer for every customer conversation, human or AI, checking each one against your own quality standards. It connects to 100+ channels, including the App Store, Google Play, Trustpilot, G2, Reddit, Salesforce and Intercom, and works with Slack and Jira.
Pricing isn't published. Where it falls short: its homepage now leads with support quality assurance and AI bots, so roadmap prioritization is a smaller part of the pitch.
6. SurveyMonkey: best for AI themes on survey responses
SurveyMonkey's AI analysis sorts open-ended answers into themes with a summary, so a survey team can read thousands of comments without coding them by hand.
Pricing: team plans start at $30 per user a month, billed annually for at least 3 users. Where it falls short: it only reads the surveys you run in SurveyMonkey, so tickets, reviews and calls aren't in it.
7. Aha!: best when the roadmap tool is the priority
Aha! Roadmaps holds strategy and plans, and Aha! Ideas runs branded portals where customers submit and vote on ideas. Ideas come in from Salesforce, HubSpot, ServiceNow or a Chrome extension, and its AI assistant groups them into themes and ranks them by potential revenue. Bugs go straight to Jira.
You'll pay per user per month for each Aha! product, though Roadmaps includes Ideas Essentials. Where it falls short: it reads ideas people submit, not the feedback in tickets and calls.
8. Savio: best for tracking requests with the revenue behind them
Savio centralizes feature requests from Slack, HubSpot, Intercom, Help Scout and Salesforce and shows each request with its total revenue and number of requesters. Requests can be sorted by opportunity value, account monthly recurring revenue (MRR) or plan, and customers can vote on public or private boards.
Pricing: $39, $79 or $249 a month paid annually, each with 1 paid user, and free users aren't capped. Where it falls short: it's built around requests a person logs or votes on, so feedback nobody logs doesn't reach it.
Which Reforge Insights Replacement Fits Your Team
Start with where your feedback lives. If it's spread across calls, tickets, reviews and surveys and findings need revenue weight before they reach the backlog, Unwrap is the right replacement, and that's most product teams leaving Reforge Insights. If it's mostly surveys, in-app answers or submitted requests, the narrower tools above are built for that slice. For a wider shortlist, see our guide to customer intelligence tools for product teams.
Whatever you shortlist, load a month of real feedback, read 25 items from each of 2 themes, and search for an issue you already know about to see whether it surfaced on its own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Reforge Insights shutting down after the Miro deal?
Reforge hasn't announced a shutdown date. Its March 24, 2026 post on joining Miro says Insights, Research and Build will be integrated into Miro's Product Acceleration offering over time and that current customers don't need to act yet. It hasn't said whether Insights will keep being sold standalone, so confirm that with your Reforge contact before your renewal.
How does Unwrap replace what Reforge Insights did?
Unwrap covers the same three steps. It pulls feedback from tickets, chat, reviews, surveys, CRM records and call transcripts, clusters it into themes with no taxonomy to build, and pushes findings to Slack and email as alerts and to Jira, Asana and Linear as Linked Actions. Business context comes from CRM fields mapped into the platform, and onboarding takes two to three weeks.
Will a replacement need our roadmap and strategy files?
It depends on where the tool gets its business context. Reforge Insights took it from files your team supplied. Platforms that map account, segment, plan tier and revenue data from your CRM read it from records your team already maintains, so nothing needs refreshing each time priorities change.
What should I export from Reforge Insights before moving?
Ask for the raw feedback with its source and date, the themes applied to it, and any account identifiers. Raw feedback is the part to insist on, because a new platform can re-derive themes from it, and exported themes on their own can't be re-analyzed. Get the format confirmed in writing before your contract ends.
Can a feedback analysis tool replace a feature request board?
They do different jobs. A request board like the ones Aha! and Savio run collects requests from customers who choose to post and vote. A feedback analysis platform reads what every customer already wrote in tickets, reviews, calls and surveys, including the ones who'd never visit a board. Plenty of product teams run both, and our roundup of AI feature request analytics software covers the request side in more depth.
